A native of Matanzas, Cuba, Gerardo Fundora has called Miami home since 1962. Mr. Fundora holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in business from Nova Southeastern University
Mr. Fundora began his communications career more than 39 years ago as an installer/repairman with Southern Bell Telephone. His career has encompassed numerous operations and staff assignments, including various leadership positions at BellSouth, Nortel Networks, Bellcore/Telcordia, Somers Communications, and Hal-Tec Corporation. His extensive background provides a strong foundation for effective interaction with all groups and the opportunity to architect solutions for customers and partners. Mr. Fundora is a dynamic and results oriented/revenue driven business executive with sustained track record in leading sales organizations. More than thirty years of progressive and leading experience in direct and indirect sales, marketing, business development, engineering, operations and research and development. Strong Business Acumen and experience developing new business, as well as the strengthening of existing customer relationships in highly competitive environments. Extensive technical and commercial background in bidding and contract negotiations in international markets.
